GLOW ON A BUDGET
Let me clear this, the products used on kids are almost the same thing you use on your skin. The only difference is that, the kind of lightening actives you as an adult use may not be suitable on their skin right now. Irritation level will be too high for them.
That's why it's highly advised you don't use lightening or whitening products on their skin at the early stage.
Adult can use the children's products, not that it really whitens up or lightens the skin up, it gives a very nice glow. Just make sure you polish your skin at least twice or thrice a week with your regular sking polisher or check out a Custom Skin Polish here.
These creams are highly and very moisturizing.
As a matter of fact, if you know that the lower part of your body is drier than, like dry skin and oil face, I will recommend you buy any of these lotions for yourself.
These products are not mainly for kids, it's just that it's suitable for kids. Not that it's only for kids. It's suitable for everybody but it's suitable for kids mainly.
The reason being that, kids as they grow up, some of them end up with dry skin, loose that luster, they loose that glow, their skin starts to get dull, it is very much normal.
For kids from the age of 6-12 years can use any of these two products, both on face and body.
But from the age of 13 years upwards shouldn't use OLAYBACT Kiddies and Teens on their face because puberty stage is already setting in, they are becoming teenagers, adolescents, those ones with acne prone skin start to manifest at this stage. Because the oils in the lotions are not acne suitable, they are comedogenic oils, like coconut oils and Co.
But looking at the ingredients on EDEN Teens and Glow above, it can be used on the face.
When it comes to children, I don't like the claims of these products. Because this is how we introduce our children to skin bleaching at the end of the day it becomes our fault.
I've seen many parents these days, they mix this Eden Teens Glow, OLAYBACT Kiddies and Teens etc with shea-butter together and use it on their babies, not even kids. The truth of the matter is, it may turn out great but that doesn't mean you have to use it on their skin. It doesn't give you that right to use it on their skin, they are still babies. And using steroid on their skin at that tender age will end up causing steroid addiction (steroid atrophy).
Using on children, you are trying to reprogram their skin, trying to get the skin to another type of texture, feeding it a particular type of food at an early age. And the skin will get used to that kind of food, when you change over time, your kids will go darker than the way there were born or the color they were born with.
It's a normal thing anyway but sometimes it becomes so bad that you see babies with serious rashes, sunburn, Knuckles, red spots on their body, dark marks, eczema, etc. These are causes of steroids you use on their skin.
Please stop buying bleaching products for your children.
Your children don't need to be very fair before they are beautiful or handsome, that's not nice.
The manufacturers made these kinds of products have seen many parents complaining of their children growing up and getting darker, but getting darker as one grows up is normal. It may be due to the fact that they are actually growing, and their system, hormones and everything is changing or due to the kind of products you've used on them when they were babies.
Adults who wants to glow on a budget can use any of the two products, but if you are acne prone, I would suggest you go for EDEN Teens and Glow.
The only I don't like about these products is that, the ingredients lists are not complete, and also, the fairness claims for kids.
You can source for any of these products from a trust local cosmetics shop around you. It goes between 3k or N3, 500 depending on your area and location.
