GET PLUMP, VOLUMINOUS AND JUICY LOOK

Image
Hyaluronic acid is a substance that can hold water and moisture within your skin. As a matter of fact, it can hold a thousand times of water within your skin. Hyaluronic acid is usually jelly, sticky and squishy. You can find hyaluronic acid within your body. Most places you can find hyaluronic acid is in your eyes, in your joints, in your hair, and within your skin. 50% of hyaluronic acid is within your skin. You have it within your epidermis and within your demis. Unfortunately, as we get older, we start loosing more hyaluronic acid within our skin. The younger we are, the more hyaluronic we have, the older we are, we start loosing that. What hyaluronic acid does to our skin is that, it give us Volume, Plump and Juicy look. As we get older and start loosing more hyaluronic acid, we start getting more of that saggy skin, and less volume in the skin, which causes us to get fine lines and wrinkles. Any skin type can benefit from the topical hyaluronic acid. We have oily skin, ...

SUNSCREEN IS CRITICAL

Image
You need sunscreen even if you do not go outside or work in the middle of the sun. The sun come through the window. Some window can protect UV rays from coming in but not block all of the UV rays. Sunscreen is FDA regulated. They have strict standards regarding sunscreens. That's why they are so expensive.  Be very careful when buying sunscreens as some have been recalled due to a known carcinogen - benzene - presence.  TYPES OF SUNSCREEN   Chemical Sunscreen    - Has filters  - Can really give you UVA protection (i.e can potentially give you protection against the UVA)  - Can be irritating  - Sometimes, not the best choice for people that has hyperpigmentation.  Physical Sunscreen   - Can give you protection against the burning rays / UVA rays -Less irritating  - Protects against the pro-pigment wavelength of visible light / blue light.  Mineral Sunscreen   - Less irritating than chemical sunscreen  - Provides some p...

GLOW HALF CAST EXTRA FAIRNESS LOTION #BEST LIGHTENING CREAM REVIEW.

Image
This brand has 3 sets, but the above picture is majorly the one I would dwell on. This lotion has carrot oil, it has propelene glycol for penetration, it has Alpha Arbutin which is a safe lightening ingredient, it has mineral oil (which is a light oil and penetrate well into the skin) and other lightening ingredients. The ingredients is pretty much safe but does not give that half cast shade that's written on it. Majority of products that you see that they write whitening on it which in natural cases it is just a normal moisturiser. This lotion is not going to give you that half cast that is written on it incase that's the reason why you want to buy it. But its just going to help you brighten your skin very well. It has a face cream and a soap as well that works. Just incase you want to settle, this cream is very good. They are set of a cream that I believe it's going to do a very good job on your skin.  Just incase you want to stick to a brand, this is a brand that you can...

TYPES OF HAIR CONDITIONERS WE HAVE

Image
🌸 Leave-in conditioners. 🌸 Rinse-out conditioners. 🌸Deep conditioners. Leave-in conditioners: These are conditioners that are left in the hair. The purpose of a leave-in conditioner is to work as a Moisturizer so your hair is protected when the conditioner is applied. Leave-in conditioners can be used whenever the hair needs moisture. This can be used 4 times or 5 times a week. Rinse-out conditioners:like the name implies, rinse-out conditioners are used on the hair and are rinsed out within few minutes, that means they are not to be left in the hair. The purpose of a rinse out products is to protect the hair cuticles while making them smooth and protecting them from heat damage. Rinse-out conditioners are used every WASHDAY. Deep conditioners:As the name suggest, a deep conditioner is meant to provide your hair with deeper conditioning. These conditioners are ideal for damaged and dry hair. There are two types of deep conditioners: 🌸 Moisturizing deep conditioner 🌸Protein deep co...

THE CONS OF. DIY NATURAL HAIR CARE

Image
Most of us step into this natural hair journey knowing nothing or too little about hair structure, product formulations and proper hair care practices. So when we start learning about harmful and drying hair ingredients to curly hair - DIY seems like the perfect option.  However, with the exception of a few people who really get into it, we’re not certified in making stable and effective concoctions. Take egg masks, for instance, if you’re transitioning, have chemically treated hair or use heat regularly the protein in eggs is too big to provide any ‘support’ to the internal structure of the hair (cortex). To do so they need to be hydrolysed and in that case, they’re only conditioning the hair not actually treating it.  Additionally, if you’re using lots of oils and butter in your DIY recipes, and most curly girls DO, and you’re not using a strong enough cleanser to remove them from the hair you’re just creating buildup, preventing hair moisture and promoting breakage.  A...
